I have lived in Robla for 8 years and have enjoyed every minute of raising my two sons in our small community. As a mother I believe that education is the most valuable gift we can give to our children and I have a passion for helping expand children's minds. While my youngest attended Robla elementary I volunteered many times for field trips, helping in classrooms and judged the science fair multiple times.
Living in a small community is a blessing, I believe that community and parent involvement can make our small district stronger and give us the opportunity to bring unique resources and lessons to our children in and out of the classroom. This will prepare our children for a brighter future with the skills they need for success going into high school and their future. Children have different learning styles and it is our responsibility to ensure that they have easy access to the style that helps them succeed. Whether that be through individualized education plans, more class support, both inside and out of the classroom, or more hands on activities. Let's bring our community together and help our children succeed.
Our district is struggling and we need an out of the box thinker and problem solver to come up with creative answers to our problems. Robla School District has talented teachers who need us to give them better resources to teach.
